Staveley Town Council has The Speedwell Rooms for hire which is suitable for all types of events - wedding receptions, family celebrations, parties, reunions, conferences, corporate events, fairs and promotions. The Main Hall is licensed for 400 theatre style and can seat up to 250 around tables. It has reputably the largest sprung dance floor in all of northern Derbyshire, there is a licensed bar, a large fully equipped catering kitchen, a large stage with dressing room and toilets for performers.
Rooms One and Two have independant access, use of a small kitchen and are suitable for smaller meetings and events for up to 40 people.
The Lounge (off the Main Hall) is suitable as a break out room or for small meetings.

Staveley Hall is situated to the northeast of St John The Baptist Church in Staveley, with easy access from the M1 motorway and a short journey from Chesterfield Railway station.
Perfectly placed to enjoy local ameneties and Poolsbrook country park.
The Hall was built by Sir Peter Frecheville in 1604 and has recently undergone a complete restoration.
