Online Diary and Bookings System

All of our rooms can be booked online using our online room booking system.

If you want to do block bookings or book out multiple spaces taking advantage of our ‘Access all Areas’ prices then please get in touch by email: info@staveleytowncouncil.gov.uk as this is not currently possible to do directly.  However, please take advantage of the online diaries to check your dates before doing so.

Please note that the prices quoted are for commercial hire, if you are a community group or individual booking a party type event then please get in touch to obtain a discount code.

Facilities to book at Staveley Hall

The Devonshire Room is situated on the ground floor of Staveley Hall for between up to 45 people depending on the type of use. It can be hired for a variety of occasions such as:

 * Wedding reception

 * Birthday Party

 * Group Activities 

or for corporate use such as:

 * Area Meetings

 * Interviews

 * Training Days

 * Team building

Refreshments are available on request, please select this option at time of booking.

There is free parking available at Staveley Hall for those utilising its facilities, subject to availability.

The Frecheville Room, is situated on the ground floor of Staveley Hall for between 12 and 30 people depending on the type of use and function.  It can be hired for a variety of occasions such as:

 * Wedding Ceremony

 * Birthday Party

 * Group Activities 

or for corporate use such as:

 * Corporate Meetings

 * Board Meetings

 * Interviews

 * Training Days

 * Team building

For larger events or requests this room can be booked in conjunction with the other rooms available to increase capacity or to provide break-out spaces for meetings and working groups.

Refreshments are available on request, please select this option at time of booking.

There is free parking available at Staveley Hall for those utilising its facilities, subject to availability.

The Dance Studio is situated on the ground floor of Staveley Hall for between 20 to 30 people depending on the type of useage and needs. It is a purpose designed and built room with sprung laminate floor, bar and mirrors. The room is heated as necessary throughout the year. 

 It can be hired for a variety of occasions such as:

 * Training and Fitness

* Lessons and sessional work

 * Dance Party

 * Group Activities 

 * Physiotherapy sessions. ( own equipment or bench )

There are a variety of exhibition spaces situated on both the ground floor, the staircase and the upper floor of Staveley Hall  depending on the type of work and area needed to showcase. There is also a large outdoor space to the rear and side of the Hall which is available for sculpture, outdoor exhibitions and roadshows.

When booking an exhibition space it is advised that you visit the hall and ensure that the space you require is available, and that the work is suitable for display in the location requested, to ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are met.

We will advertise exhibitions within the hall, both on our social media and here on the Staveley Town Council website free of charge based on the user providing the advertising files and/ or posters for the show.

Facilities to book at The Speedwell Rooms

The Main Hall at the Speedwell Rooms is a light versatile large open space. It can be hired for a variety of occasions such as:

 * Wedding receptions

 * Large events

 * Shows 

 * Fairs

 * Theatre productions

 * Fitness sessions

and many more.  Our hall boasts the largest sprung dancefloor in North Derbyshire!

There is also a stage to the end of the space, and seating that can be laid out for theatre and amateur dramatics group productions.

There is a large car park with free parking subject to availability. Please be mindful when selecting your event date, that the car park is also utilised by the local football team for home matches and so can be busier than normal.

Committee Room 1 at the Speedwell Rooms lends itself well to projects and workshops as it allows the space to create and work in groups or as individuals. It and can be hired for a variety of occasions such as:

 * Craft Workshops

 * Project work

 * Music practice 

 * General Activities 

 * Group sessions

 * Educational use 

This room can be booked in conjunction with the Main Community Space.

Room two is a smaller room than Room one and lends itself to smaller meetings, AGM group meetings and can seat approximately 15 people.

The Lounge Room can facilitate groups of between 20 and 25 depending on the activity or event planned.

Use of Your Personal Data

Your Rights

You have several rights you may enforce. Where the council is processing your personal data due to the consent you have provided, you are entitled to withdraw this consent. You may also ask for such information to be deleted and where it cannot you may request to restrict processing (halt using further). In addition, subject to some legal exceptions, you have the right to: • request a copy of the personal information the council holds about you; • to have any inaccuracies corrected; • to have your personal data erased; • to place a restriction on the council’s processing of your data; • to object to processing; and • to request your data to be ported (data portability).
