Mastin Moor

About

Mastin Moor is a village located to the east of Staveley, and is set for major investment with new housing and community facilities.

 

The new development will be built to the latest environmental standards and include new parklands, leisure facilities and shops.

 

It will also see the establishment of a new construction skills hub with the vision of providing sustainable homes and skills to the workforce. 

 

The development is expected to take 10 years to complete. To see further information on the first phase you can view the Phase One Design and Access Statement which gives an overview of the shape of things to come

Inspiring the future

Our local area has many activities and events, run by local organisations and charities with volunteers giving time to inspire others through enjoyment and a great day out.

Staveley Town Council would love to hear from such organisations who have projects and ideas for events or activity days which would give a positive benefit to others in the community.

 

This may be in the form of a fair for example, or a community competition or similarly a local project to improve the amenities for all.

Mastin Moor Gardens and Allotments the hard work of dedicated volunteers

The Mastin Moor Gardens and Allotments

Created by a handful of dedicated volunteers bringing the allotment site back to life as an area to be enjoyed by the whole community. It boasts:-

  • Over one mile of walkable pathways

  • Arboretum

  • Pond and Wildlife area

  • Family Picnic Area

The council will keep your personal data indefinitely unless you explicitly request it to be removed. Details cannot be removed if this forms part of a statutory or legal obligation or public registry. Your responsibilities:

Your Rights

You have several rights you may enforce. Where the council is processing your personal data due to the consent you have provided, you are entitled to withdraw this consent. You may also ask for such information to be deleted and where it cannot you may request to restrict processing (halt using further). In addition, subject to some legal exceptions, you have the right to: • request a copy of the personal information the council holds about you; • to have any inaccuracies corrected; • to have your personal data erased; • to place a restriction on the council’s processing of your data; • to object to processing; and • to request your data to be ported (data portability).
